Solar Credits Scheme
Solar Credits are a form of tradeable Renewable Energy Certificates (REC's). The scheme is supported by the Australian Government's legislative obligation within the Renewable Energy Target. This scheme involves the generation of REC's for households, businesses and community groups for the installation of solar, wind and hydro electricity systems.

Why Solar Power?
Solar produces no CO2 or other pollutants when producing electricity. The output from solar power coincides with peak demands on the electricity grid (from air conditioners, etc), reducing the need for new brown coal power stations. Feed-in tariffs, and rising electricity prices combine to make solar more affordable in our changing economy.
